Web Page Optimisation and Search Engine Submission
Acting as UK based search engine consultants, TNC Training & Consultancy believe that the key factor in running a website
is ensuring that the hits or visits which do take place are made by the target market. TNC are able to produce accurate reports which show under which key words a website is indexed on a search engine. Modifications can then be made to the website to ensure the correct
search engine ranking. To enable us to market a site accurately three processes
are involved; namely Web Page Optimisation, Search Engine Ranking and a
programme of Professional Search Engine Submission.
Web Page Optimisation
Fundamental to the development of a website is identifying the keywords by which a client identifies its product marketplace.
By using Web Page Optimisation a website is designed around these keywords to ensure that each page is coded appropriately to attract the correct
search engine position. Careful use of features such as meta tags, alt tags and comments can be used to re-enforce keywords which are included within the text. Having
completed Web Page Optimisation it is then necessary to submit the site to the search engine databases.
This is completed through a professional search engine submission process which
includes both automated and manual submissions.
Search Engine Ranking
TNC aim to produce a high ranking on search engines. On a monthly basis we check the ranking for those search engines that we have targeted including all the major search
engines. Our software completes searches based on predefined keywords. We can complete multiple searches at once and hundreds of searches in a short period of time. This allows us to determine
whether a high ranking on search engines has been achieved, under what keywords the site is indexed and for those keywords where the site is ranked (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc).
Professional Search Engine Submission
Professional Search Engine Submission is a controlled process including both
manual and automated submissions. Having established the search engine rankings we then set criteria
for search engine submission. If the website is not listed then we submit the website in an attempt to become listed.
If the site has a low ranking there may be value in resubmitting the web site to enhance its position, although changes to the site may
also be necessary. It is however, also important to monitor the frequency of
search engine submission and not to submit where good positioning has been achieved.
Our real strength at TNC is the detailed reporting of our websites. This information allows us to make suitable adjustments
and to obtain the correct search engine position.
