Domain Name Registration
TNC manage and complete domain name registration on behalf of its clients. Any domain name
that we register will be in the name of our client and at their address. We maintain a system to
ensure that the domain names do not expire and normally contact our client approximately
4 weeks before renewal to allow plenty of time for the renewal to be completed correctly.
Unlike many of the cheaper services offered by companies, we will contact you in person if you
do not respond to an email so you won't loose your domain name due to an incorrect email address or other
technicality. Registration is usually for a two year period and will include correct aliasing
to your website to ensure full search engine visibility.
Things to be aware of during Domain Name Registration!
One thing to be aware of is that some companies will register a domain name on your behalf using
their own details ie the domain name will be registered to them not to you. As your domain name
is registered with another party, you will have no authority over that domain name and its use.
TNC have worked with new clients who no longer use their original registration company and have had great
difficulty in changing the registration details of their domain name to their own name and address.
This problem, if not resolved, can potentially have a massive impact on your business because you
may lose control of your domain name.
